Spermidine ingredient exploration For brands & formulation teams

PRODUCT IDENTITY & SPECIFICATION

Understand the form.
Then review the grade.

A defined chemical identity is the starting point. The controlled product specification establishes the commercial limits.

DR.SPD / SUPPLIER SPECIFICATION

A defined ingredient grade.

Dr.SPD is supplied as spermidine trihydrochloride (CAS 334-50-9). The supplier specification sets a purity limit of ≥98.0% by GC. The table below translates the supplied Chinese specification; confirm the current controlled revision for each purchase.

Chemical identity does not certify a commercial batch. Molecular weights differ, so salt mass and spermidine free-base-equivalent content require distinct reporting.

How purity is reported

The supplied in-house standard, Q/EGT SYNBIO-STC-2025-1 (issued 22 July 2026), describes GC peak-area normalization following sample preparation. This purity result is not a calibrated free-base-equivalent assay. Confirm the calculation basis and method suitability for your intended use.

Three supplied company COAs report GC purity of 99.4%, 99.5% and 99.5%. These are results for identified batches; the published specification limit remains ≥98.0%.

Storage and shelf life

The TDS declares 24 months when sealed and stored in a cool, dry place, protected from sunlight and moisture. Use the expiration date on the applicable batch COA. Stability-study details are available for discussion and have not been independently verified here.
